I'm ready to go back to Europe. In fact, if I had enough vacation time (which I don't) I would spend the entire summer in a rented Italian villa, or somewhere in the French countryside, skirting from town to town in my mini-cooper, buying groceries at local markets, drinking wine, and photographying everything I find interesting. Right now, I cannot recall the last time I took a photo of something besides my kids, don't get me wrong, I love my kids and they are great subjects, but I long for more...the above photo I took from a similar bridge to the one you can see in the background. On my bridge there were multiple shops and I was browsing in a jewelry store when I saw this lone person rowing. I asked the clerk to open the window, which I then proceded to hang out of to take this shot. It is one of my favorites because of its stillness and rower's autonomy. Just wanted to share... J
After much thought, I've decided to dissolve JReynolds Photography Inc. It's sad, I'm sad, but I believe it's the right time and the right place to say goodbye. In February 2011, I took a new job that requires me to travel the entire state. I am extremely happy in my new job, and I am grateful that everyday I can help prolong the life of someone with cancer. I will continue to publish my blog until the end of the year, as I have some client editing to complete. Thanks - J

I like the color in this shot. My middle child always works her way into client's photo sessions. But luckily, some of the best photos of her happen this way.
Again, got this shot at the same session as above...
